Susan Nicholas Gephart Artist Bio:

Susan Nicholas Gephart, has been painting award-winning landscapes “Plein Air” and teaching for over thirty years. She is a 1979 BFA graduate of PSU and a Distinguished Alumni of Montgomery County Community College. Susan is president for the Central Pa Pastel Society and an active member of the Farmland Preservation Artists. 

Susan’s joy for the enriching the artistic spirit is demonstrated in her art teachings with all ages. Her deep appreciation of the earth is seen in her colorful, impressionistic pastels and oils, mostly painted “Plein Air”. 

Susan has shown with The Pastel Society of America, The Art of the State of Pennsylvania, won Best of Show in The Central Festival of the Arts Images, and is in the permanent collections of The Penn Stater Conference Center, Penn College, Lock Haven University, and The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art. Susan instructs privately at Nicholas Studios in Bellefonte, is a demonstrator for many national art supply companies, and organizes May and October annual artist retreats at Hameau Farm Studio in Belleville, PA.  www.snicholasart.com
